Our pilot roast of this coffee on the P3K. Fair warning , this coffee is insanely light , 6%WL [compared to our usual 8.9-9.9%], its borderline kinda soft, it did technically hit first crack and was dropped immediately after. To re-emphasize this is EXTREMELY light and is to be enjoyed by those of you who purely pull espresso and have grinders that double as industrial wood chippers. So we're putting up the test roast of it on a heavy discount and in full 250gm bags. Roasted on 27th of September.
Mugaya Factory is a washing station in Kirinyaga, Kenya, respected and renowned for its consistently qualitative coffee processing. The Factory is located at the foot of Mount Kenya, at around 1700-1800 masl, where it was established in 1975. Today, through the aid of their mother company the Mutira Farmers’ Cooperative Society, it is able to support approximately 1700 smallholder farmers by sourcing coffee from them for processing. A deviation from the standard Kenyan consisting of mostly SL28/SL34 with a profile reminiscent of our Gatchatha from last year.
