About Us

A micro roaster based in Keyport NJ owned by Alena and Ryan, CETO's goal is to provide our local market (and online friends) with unique offerings roasted to a modern light standard: coffees that lack roast in the cup, with a profile highlighting florals & acidity. 

We roast on a modified Stronghold s7x and s7pro, hacked by us to work with Artisan (if you are interested, send us an email) and make our coffees available in 20g centrifuge tubes, 50g bags, and 115g bags, with the goal to make our coffees available to everyone.

All our green coffees are frozen as we receive them, and we roast directly from the freezer in most cases. They will stay fresh for over a year - so do not be deterred if you see old stock on the menu, it is still as fresh as when we received the coffee. 

We have a wide range of preference for coffees, from very clean washed coffees to funky experimental processes. We will do our best to communicate to you what you are getting with our funk scale & coffee notes. If you ever have a question about a coffee, please reach out to us using our contact form. While we hold every order to the highest standards, as coffee lovers we understand how disappointing it is to spend money on something you do not enjoy. If you are ever unsatisfied for any reason, our promise to our customers is to offer a replacement & refund for any order. 

Coffee is roasted every Sunday and orders are fulfilled on Monday, or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday.
